Be a BULA approved tournament

BULA approved tournaments can receive the following benefits:
  1. Use of royalty-free pictures that you can use for posters and/or articles in magazines and newspapers.

  2. Email promotion of your tournament through the Beach Ultimate News emails; a 100% opt-in list of Beach Ultimate players that want to receive info about new tournaments.

  3. Discraft discounts:
    • 20% discount on regular price discs (PDF pricelist 2009)
    • 10 Free game discs per every 100 discs ordered. This game disc is a standard white disc with the BULA logo in large (2 colors: yellow and blue) and the word 'Game Disc' in red written on it.
    • 100 Free Discraft Ultimate Stickers for giveaways
    • 5 Free Discraft hats for giveaways
    • 1 Discraft Banner displayed at tourney central to keep
    In return you would have to:
    • Buy 100+ custom Ultra-stars
    • Have a linked web banner with the Discraft logo on your website. Visit http://www.discraft.com/res_link.html for thelink
    • The Discraft logo on the custom disc.
    • A Discraft Ad in Tournament Program if applicable (supplied by Discraft at no cost)
    • A Discraft banner at the Tournament Cenntral(supplied by Discraft at no cost)

And it doesn't stop there. We are continuously working on getting you what you want. Just check out our Tournament Organizers tips page and you'll see what we have already done with you in mind.


What does BULA expect from a BULA tournament?

  1. A BULA tournament is played under BULA 5-on-5 rules, or 4-on-4 rules (including the right field size).

  2. A BULA tournament awards a Spirit Of The Game (SOTG) award. We recommend to use the BULA and WFDF approved 2010 SOTG scoring system, but any system is accepted.

  3. A BULA tournament does not provide prize money for players and/or teams.

  4. A BULA tournament mentions the SOTG award winners any time the tournament's winners/standings are mentioned on material directly produced by tournament's organization (web site, booklet, etc...)

  5. A BULA tournament has at least one organized party.

  6. A BULA tournament has an awards ceremony.

  7. A BULA tournament has a website/webpage providing information about the tournament. On the homepage one of the BULA logo's below will be displayed with link to beachultimate.org

  8. A BULA tournament provides at least 4 games (per team) in total with a minimum of 2 games per day, with the exception of a one-day BULA tournament which provides at least 3 games per team.

  9. A BULA tournament provides finals for the one or more of the top teams in each division.

This is what you need to do:
  1. Add your tournament to www.ffindr.com
  2. Send us an email with the link to your tournament on Ffindr and tell us you will comply with the above
  3. We'll put the BULA logo in front of your listing on our tournament page and on FFindr.
