With 120 teams from 39 countries, it was an overwhelming success. Fans from all over the world followed the event live online with videos, live scoring, and fan interaction using hashtags. This was an event no one wanted to miss. Check out all the statistics and final rankings at live.wcbu2017.org.
The next World Championships will only take place in 2021 but in 2018 BULA will organize the European Beach Ultimate Club Championships (EBUCC2018) in Castelldefels (Spain). Another first in the long history of BULA. In 2019, the WFDF European and Asia Oceanic Beach Ultimate Championships, in association with BULA, will also take place. This is for national teams. The location will be announced at the end of March 2018. (WFDF Press Release)
